mysql - Manually installing wordpress on Godaddy, system cannot find the path specified -


i manually installing wordpress on client's godaddy account. client has requested not install in root folder, has been uploaded via cyberduck in it's original wordpress folder. created mysql database , changed config_sample.php config.php appropriate information (database username , password).

i cannot complete final step of installation. when go website.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php says "system cannot find path specified". think website recognizes wordpress there somewhere because not "missing page" message, i'm not sure problem.

is there need godaddy account make work? or can wordpress installed in root folder? or iis need updated iis7? appreciated!
