excel - Making 3 cells always sum to 1 -


i have 3 cells in excel. must sum 1. when user inputs 2 of cells, e.g. 0.2 , 0.4, want third cell automatically populate (with 0.4 in example) 3 cells sum 1.

i suggest following solution. can use different formulas if statements.

![in red section have formulas check if value in cells 1,2,3 "", if yes, sum of 1 need remaining part can describen 1 minus 2 other cells][1]

at end numbers in 1 row can 1 of above, red or green section, , set cell value there not empty space.
