networking - how to connect multiple virtual machines in LAN -


i having 3 virtual machines different linux distros installed on it(oracle virtualbox).i wanted know if there way connect these 3 machins in lan.if how in vmware , virtualbox?

in vmware have option create network viritual machine (seperate local network). called network address translation, in short nat. in simple terms directs traffic internet correct pc in local network. computer becomes router viritual machines. can act dchp server gives out ip addresses vms only.

here example:

some network setup viritual machines

as can see here viritual machines (vm) internet access computer. computer acts similary normal router. keep in mind if want connect 1 of computers on local network, have port forwarding on computer.

to under network adapter settings in vmware.
