Force Drupal to merge and compress css -


i'm working on drupal site. when test in ie8 , ie9 css don't load on local server. when site deployed fine. need able test on local server fix issue might encounter before pushing site live.

i guess because site on ie's limit in http requests. there way force drupal optimise css in development mode.

when go admin/performance menu, can't select optimise css option.

did "borrow" htaccess site? reason ask because said not using htaccess neither vehicletrackingprices.co.uk or quotes.expertsinmoney.com strangely enough have 301 re-direct quotes.expertsinmoney.com , index request vehicletrackingprices.co.uk. :/

could cause of problem? if we're lucky, are. sure? no. either way 2 items deserve atttention.

on other hand, tested htaccess against 301 can see if has ny errors server may fighting , did find following:
