Table In Use - MySQL -


i have serious issue 'in use' table.

an admin site attempted database mysqldumper important table remains in use. entire site down.

have tried repair table cpanel , phpmyadmin no luck. same file not found error returned.

the site ran through rented web host shell might out of question.

have tried without luck.

i appreciate it's not go on, ideas on 1 please?

run command in database directory:

recover --safe-recover --force [table name]

depending on table size, can take long time. on large tables it's faster restart mysql service. works, though did not work op.

(yes, know it's year late. traffic terrible.)
